In collaboration with Harvester Arts (a local arts institution), we selected nine local artists to create artworks inspired by pieces in our permanent collection. Our local talent was showcased alongside beloved pieces from our collection, creating a dynamic dialogue between past and present. These artists based their response piece on two works from the Ulrich’s permanent collection.

Each artwork created for Homegrown offered a fresh perspective, shedding light on familiar pieces, while adding contemporary and diverse voices to the museum. Visitors had the opportunity to directly engage with the exhibition by voting for their favorite objects.

Participating artists: ARTISTSAPLUSB, Rachel Curtis, George Ferrandi, Lydia Humphries, Nervz, Taiomah Rutledge, Levente Sulyok, S.U.S., and Jocelyn Woodson.
